So I'm seven days late with posting the results...
but I did it.
over 100,000 words.
Though the final product is probably not going to have that many words. Chapters and characters and a lot of stuff are going to get cut. Other characters need a little more development. Fight scenes need redoing or complete nixing... it's a very rough draft.
But it's done.
I've been taking a break with the writing thing, but I'm a get back on it, likely in April, where Camp NaNoWriMo will challenge me to write 50,000 words in the month of April. By then, the plans should be laid for the next book.
In fact, I'm working on those plans sometime in the next three days.
Of course, I have other goals in mind as well... poetry book, among other things...
I can't be distracted... at least not for too long.
Well, that is all. Just wanted to post an update regarding the January 20th Challenge. It was a great success. :D

The January 20th Challenge
As of this moment, I have *something along the lines of* 20 chapters left to write for the first Marko Man book. Today is January 6th. Regardless, I want to be done with this book by January 20th. Why?
Because of the Challenge.
I didn't really get much writing done in December due to the chaos that month brought me, so now, I'm looking to more than make it up. I actually have some form of a writing schedule that I want to follow as closely as possible for the year, but that's another story in itself that I'll get into at a later date.
But as for right now? This day? This moment?
It's all about the Challenge. The January 20th Challenge.

Marko Man in: End of the World
So I wanted to write a festive little story, and I did... based on the End of the World.
Don't look at me like that... Christmas is every year, but the world only ends like, every six years or so. The end of the world is a much rarer event, so I think it should be celebrated as such.
Anyway, here's a small End of the World story. Helped me relieve some stress from this month... this month of December really hit me hard. It's not as epic as it could have been, but it's still rather entertaining. Hope you enjoy.

“Black clouds are always a bad sign,” Marko said to himself, “but black clouds with a face on it while being surrounded by fire can really only mean one thing... end of the world.”
The black cloud with the fire surrounding it was moving in Marko’s direction as he was walking towards the mall to do some last minute Christmas shopping. The face looked in Marko’s direction, and it seemed to smile at him.
“I might need some back up for this.”
Marko pulled out his phone, only to find that he wasn’t getting any service.
“Perfect. No service. This end of the world stuff is serious. Fine. I’ll handle it on my own.”
The fire increased the temperature and the brightness of the area, and this made a whole bunch of people come out of their houses to see what was going on. They saw Marko Man, and they looked up in fear, having never seen anything like that before. Marko looked around, seeing all the people, and he definitely didn’t need them to be there in the line of fire and distracting him.
"Whoa whoa whoa, does anyone else here got superpowers?"
Marko didn't get a response.
"Okay, then chill the fuck out, I got this. Everyone get out of here, get out of harms way and be safe.”
People started to run in the opposite direction of the flaming black cloud. The eyes of the cloud looked, seeing all the fleeing people, and as though it didn’t approve of the evacuation, the cloud shot a fireball down towards the street.
“Oh no you don’t! Bazooka Blast!”
Marko fired off the Bazooka Blast to combat the fireball from the sky. The two blasts connected and canceled each other out. Marko continued to look in the sky, and the flaming black cloud let out a slow, angry roar. As it roared, black specs started to fall from the cloud to the ground. They were falling fast, and there were a lot of them, but Marko wasn’t too sure what the black specs were about, so he ran forward to investigate. It didn’t take much running for Marko to see a bunch of black figures in the street, rising up from the black puddles in the ground that the black specs from the sky made.
“We are the Minions of Doom,” one of the black figures said. “The time is now. This is the end.”
“Yeah, the end of you!” Marko said. “Bazooka Blast!”
Marko launched the Bazooka Blast at the Minion of Doom that claimed the end was here, and the blast connected in an explosion, destroying that minion and hurting a few other minions as well. Through the smoke, the minions charged through to attack Marko. He didn’t anticipate their aggressive move, so he ended up on defense at first, defending against a whole bunch of punches and kicks. He was on defense for a few seconds, and then a few more, then he got a little mad that he was on defense for so long.
“Mega Kick!”
Marko dodged three consecutive attacks and countered with a Mega Kick that hit four minions. From there, he pushed forward and kept attacking with his own punches, hitting every minion that he saw. He did have to dodge a few punches, but he continued his attack, countering missed punches with Mega Kicks. He continued to attacks with punches to the faces of the minions, then he dodged a fireball with a Blaze Dash, hitting one minion and knocking him into two more. Marko turned around, having to dodge attacks from four minions at one, and he used another Blaze Dash to get away, but one minion stuck his foot out and managed to trip Marko, making him hit the ground. Before the minions could take advantage, he spun on his back with his feet out, sweep kicking whatever minions were in the circle, then he sprung up on his feet using his hands, and when he was airborne, he connected a Mega Kick. Once his feet were back on the ground, he fired a Bazooka Blast, with an explosion that managed to create a bit of space. Marko ran into the smoke, emerging from the other side and went on a rampage, connecting Mega Kick after Mega Kick, hitting one minion with each kick but taking down about four or five since he would knock minions into other minions. Marko kept attacking with these Mega Kicks until he got blasted from behind with a fireball, which knocked him to the ground. He ended up on his stomach first, but quickly got to his back as minions tried to jump on top of him. Marko used his feet to kick minions off of him as they tried to jump on top of him. After seven kicks, a bunch of minions tried to jump on top of him.
“Bazooka Blast!”
Marko fired the Bazooka Blast and it hit the airborne minions, with an explosion to keep him out of sight for a moment. He rolled to one side before getting up, and he noticed that there were minions that were trying to attack him, but they simply couldn’t see him.
“I’m over here!” Marko said. “Mega Kick!”
Marko connected three Mega Kicks, taking down a bunch of minions with those attacks. Marko continued to attack, punching minions in the face, kicking minions in the stomach, blasting minions with Megodokens, and charging into minions with Blaze Dashes. Marko was on a roll for a good minute until one of the minions managed to hit him in the back of his head. He stumbled forward, and was barely able to dodge a punch, which was followed up by a kick in a different direction, which was also dodged. He immediately Blaze Dashed into a minion, then he turned around and fired a Bazooka Blast in the direction from which he came. After the explosion he turned around, dodged one punch and countered with a punch, Mega Kick combo, knocking that minion into a few more minions, and following up with a Bazooka Blast. He ran into the smoke of that explosion, but other minions ran into the smoke as well, and Marko was met with a bunch of minions. Regardless, he attacked, throwing punches and kicks at the minions, back on a hot streak and taking down minions by the pound.
Marko soon noticed a fireball from behind and he dodged it. After that fireball, many more fireballs were launched in his direction, and he had to dodge them all as well. He found himself in an infinite loop of fireball dodging, then he just Blaze Dashed out of the line of fire.
“Bazooka Blast!”
Marko launched yet another Bazooka Blast, and it connected with yet another explosion. Marko wanted to continue his attack, but he also needed to catch his breath. Finding himself on the sidewalk, he looked into the street, and he saw that the minions were started to disappear in puffs of smoke that were going up to the sky. Confused, Marko took a few steps into the street to get a better view of the flaming black cloud in the sky.
"Marko Man..." the cloud bellowed in a loud, low tone, "Accept this... The is today... The end is here... The end is now!"
"Yeah, well, the end is just gonna have to get pass me first," Marko said with a very confident yet determined look on his face.
"You cannot stop this... I can rain down hell upon you for free... you can do nothing..."
"Wanna bet?"
The black cloud launched a huge fireball at Marko, much bigger than the fireball that it fired earlier. Marko charged up a Bazooka Blast, knowing that the standard blast would work. The fireball came closer, and Marko could feel the heat coming from it.
"Bazooka Blast!"
Marko shot the Bazooka Blast at the fireball, and when they collided, they both canceled each other out.
"You can not stop me..."
"Prove it!"
To respond to Marko's dare, the black cloud started to rain down a bunch of fireballs down towards Marko.
"Fuck."
Marko started to back up, just to get out of the way of the fireballs, but he knew that he had to find a way to stop them from falling, and as it stood, he didn't have anyway to do so. Marko kept walking backwards, seeing the fireballs hit the ground, destroying cars and setting the streets and houses and yards on fire.
"Bazooka Blast!"
Marko fired the Bazooka Blast up at the black cloud out of desperation, hoping that it would be able to do something. The Bazooka Blast flew up, and it was only getting pelted with fireballs from the cloud until it no longer existed.
The rain of fire was starting to get closer to Marko due to his standing still to launch the Bazooka Blast and the clouds intent to engulf Marko with fire. It didn't take long before Marko was dodging the fireballs that fell from the sky, and he didn't really have much a plan beyond that. He saw more houses catching fire, more trees getting smoked, and more clouds getting smoked, and that's when he snapped.
"FINAL BAZOOKA BEAM!"
Marko found himself under the cloud at this point, so he simply launched his most powerful attack straight up. The Final Bazooka Beam kept fireballs from hitting him, and it also went clear through the black cloud. Marko wasn't one hundred percent sure if that was a good thing, since it was just a cloud, but the fireballs stopped falling, and many of the fireballs disappeared as they fell before they hit the ground. Marko stopped his attack, looking up into the sky and seeing the sky clear up. It looked like it was clearing up at first, but the black matter of the cloud was all swirling up into one point. Once all of the black cloud was in the concentrated single point, it started to fall down to the ground.
Marko watched it fall. He noticed that the falling black thing had a small fire on top of it, and that it was falling at a speed similar to that of a free falling human. It was also turning out to have a human form as well. Soon, the black spec landed on its feet with a small boom, cracking the ground just a little bit, and it did turn out to have a human form. It was all black, had fire for hair and eyes the same color as the fire.
"Looks like I have formidable opposition to the end on my hands. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Deathcloud, and I am here to bring about the end of the world."
"Yeah? Under whose authority?"
"The authority of my own. You silly humans seem to think that the end was coming today. Well here I am to bring it, and a mere mortal such as yourself is in no position to stop me. So move aside, or I will make sure your soul burns for all eternity!"
"Oh... you're one of those types..."
"What... what type?"
"You know, I always thought that the end of the world would come about one of three ways... either a human pressing a button that launches every nuke my accident, a huuuuge natural disaster that just simply couldn't be stopped, or something dealing with judgment by God himself. I would have never thought that the world would end via some asshole such as yourself. You simply want to end the world for the sake of pain, chaos, despair, and your own enjoyment because you have nothing else better to do. I've seen your type a thousand times over, so fuck you, the world shall not be ending today!"
A bright orange smile grew on the face of Deathcloud.
"And you're the heroic type that's willing to put his life on the line for silly humans, regardless of their ability to not give a fuck about how many times you've save their lives."
"All day."
"Well not today. Today, you meet your end, along with the rest of this planet. And for you... I've got a special treat for your soul... before I let it burn for all eternity, I'll let you watch as I end every life on this planet in a blaze!"
"Okay. Go for it."
"I will!"
Deathcloud charged at Marko, throwing a punch when he was close enough. Marko dodged it and hit him with a Mega Kick, which sent Deathcloud flying for a bit, but he landed on his feet. He turned around and shot a fireball at Marko, which he easily dodged. Deathcloud shot three more fireballs, and Marko managed to dodge all of them. One they were past him, he jogged towards Deathcloud. Deathcloud ran at Marko too, and when they met, Marko threw a punch. Deathcloud dodged the punch and started his offense with a barrage of punches and kicks. Marko was blocking every attack, and he soon countered with a Mega Kick, but Deathcloud dodged it with a jump.
Marko looked up, seeing Deathcloud shoot a fireball down at him. Marko dodged in the direction that Deathcloud was going to land, and he jumped at him with a Mega Kick, but Deathcloud blocked the attack. When Marko and Deathcloud landed, Deathcloud shot a fireball, while Marko immediately countered with a Megodoken, and the two blasts collided into nothingness.
"All right, this warm up is over," Deathcloud declared. "Time to get serious!"
The size of the fire hair that Deathcloud had suddenly double, and with the rise in temperature of an area that was already on fire, Marko realized that his power increased.
"So you're really gonna go through with this..." Marko said. "Fine. Turbo Charge!"
Marko used Turbo Charge, and he was surrounded by a blue aura as his power and natural speed increased. Deathcloud may have been ready to end the world, but Marko was definitely ready to stop the end from happening. A smile grew on Marko’s face, and Deathcloud wasn’t exactly a fan of the smile. Deathcloud was just about to run at Marko, but Marko started walking towards Deathcloud, which threw him off a bit. Marko’s walk was calm and collected, and Deathcloud had no idea why he was walking towards him. Deathcloud gritted his teeth in anger, feeling as though Marko was just way too confident considering the situation, so he charged at Marko and threw a punch. Marko dodged the punch and Mega Kicked Deathcloud, sending him flying. Deathcloud landed on his feet, but when he turned around, Marko was already in his face, hitting him with punches and kicks all over his body. Twenty hits connected before Marko finished his combo with a Mega Kick, which sent Deathcloud flying once again, but this time, Deathcloud took off flying into the air, going up. He looked down at Marko and started to shoot rapid fireballs down at Marko.
“The bastard can fly,” Marko said, dodging the fireballs. “Just great.”
Marko was dodging the fireballs, then he ran real quickly to get out of the line of fire. Deathcloud saw him move, and he kept redirecting his attack, trying to hit Marko, but he kept moving in an unpredictable zigzag pattern. Deathcloud saw that he wasn’t going to be able to hit Marko, so he stopped firing the rapid fireballs, only to shoot a huge fireball down at him.
“Blaze Dash!”
Marko avoided the attack with a Blaze Dash, clearing the attack with more than enough room to spare. Deathcloud kept his eye on Marko, and he dived down at Marko. He went for a flying punch, but Marko dodged it and Deathcloud kept flying. He went for a flying kick, and Marko dodged that as well. Deathcloud went back into the air and fired a fireball, and Marko dodged it. Deathcloud flew down at Marko once again, and this time he kept punching at him, but Marko was blocking every punch. Deathcloud increased his altitude just a bit and switched his offense to kicks, and Marko was still blocking every attack. While his defense wasn’t failing him, he still wanted to be able to counter attack, soon, he decide to duck under a kick and force a jump after the dodge. He went for a punch, but Deathcloud grabbed Marko’s fist and flew up high into the air. Marko tried to punch him with his free hand, but Deathcloud was able to move so that punch either didn’t hit or was simply ineffective. Soon, he started to swing Marko around by his fist, around and around, in a circle, moving faster and faster. As he spun, the hand that was holding Marko started to heat up, and soon it was on fire, and it was burning Marko’s fist. Marko felt the burn and he started yelling in pain, which only added to Deathcloud’s delight. After a few seconds of spinning with a flaming hand, he finally released Marko towards the ground, and Marko hit the ground, landing on his side in the middle of a crater.
“Now you’re dead!” Deathcloud said. “HA!”
Deathcloud shot a huge fireball into the crater. When the fireball hit the crater, it exploded. Fortunately, Marko was able to quickly get up and Blaze Dash out of the crater to avoid direct contact, but the explosion was still able to hit Marko and it knocked him into a tree that was on fire, causing Marko’s back to catch fire for a moment. He quickly dropped to the ground and rolled around to put the fire out. He was able to put the fire out, but Deathcloud flew towards him, pick him up, put him on his feet, and started to punch him in his face with fists of fire. Twenty punches connected before Deathcloud finished his combo with a huge fireball, sending Marko down the street. Marko landed on his back, and for a moment, he didn’t move.
“There. That should be it.”
Marko slowly started to get up, much to Deathcloud’s surprise. Marko looked at Deathcloud, kind of mad that he let him do the damage that he done. Most of his body felt like it had a minor burn at worst, and his right hand definitely had a serious burn. He could feel the pain, but he was the only one here to combat Deathcloud, and he just knew that if Deathcloud won, he could bring about the end of the world.
“Not gonna let you win,” Marko said. “You’re gonna have to do more than that.”
“Have I not given you a preview of the eternal pain you’re looking to experience?” Deathcloud asked.
“I’ll heal.”
“Implying that you’re gonna win... such a silly man.”
A smile grew on Deathcloud’s face, as he was sure that he was going to win.
“Imply? Okay, let me make it clear. You. Won’t. Win.”
The smile disappeared, and Deathcloud immediately fired a fireball out of anger of Marko’s statement. Marko dodged the fireball by diving to his right, then he quickly got up. He saw Deathcloud, Deathcloud saw that he missed, and Deathcloud charged at Marko. Marko decided to charge back. Both Deathcloud and Marko threw punches, and their fists collided. Marko ended up bouncing back, and Deathcloud decided to charge at his advantage. Once he was within range, Deathcloud barraged Marko with punches that were on fire. Marko blocked a few of punches but soon realized that he had to dodge these punches. It didn’t take Deathcloud long before he went to shoot a fireball at close range at Marko, but Marko was quick enough to dodge the fireball. Marko backed off, and Deathcloud kept shooting fireball. Marko continued to dodge the fireballs. Marko might have backed off at first, but he kept moving forward as Deathcloud shot fireballs at him, and it didn’t seem like Deathcloud noticed his progress. Soon, Marko dodged a fireball, and he connected a double kick that knocked Deathcloud into the air. Marko jumped up and connected three punches before he landed, and he finished up with an uppercut that kept him in the air for a moment longer, then finished with a Mega Kick. It sent Deathcloud flying, but he landed on his feet.
“Blaze Dash!”
Marko used Blaze Dash as an offensive attack for the first time against Deathcloud, and he ran into Deathcloud, knocking him into the air.
“Bazooka Blast!”
Marko immediately launched a Bazooka Blast at Deathcloud, and the attack connected, sending him high into the air before he hit the ground on his back. The series of attacks hit him harder and hurt him a whole lot more than he thought Marko was capable of doing, so when he got up off the ground, he was angry.
“I don’t know how you’re capable of such power, but it will not save you from the end!”
“Yeah. Sure it won’t.”
“Mocking me? Fine! Expediting your death right about NOW! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”
Deathcloud’s body caught on fire. He also grew in size, and the temperature in the area was going into areas of unbearable, even for Marko Man. This meant that his power was increasing, and Marko was fully aware of the danger he was in. Suddenly, a portion of the street erupted with a geyser of fire, then two more geysers of fire appeared.
“So his power is starting to tear the world apart or something?” Marko said. “Aww hell no...”
Marko allowed his anger for this situation to swell up. From Deathcloud’s threat to the world and the damage he had already caused, to the extreme heat, the burn on his hand, and the flaming geysers that were starting to grow common, Marko had more than enough fuel for his anger.
“RRRRRAAAAAGGGGGEEEEE!”
Marko used Rage, and now his anger was becoming his power. His blue aura returned, only now it was bigger and brighter, and his power was increasing to contend with the power of Deathcloud. Deathcloud looked at Marko, seeing the new development, and was still surprised that Marko was capable of generating so much power. He was still confident that in his current form he would be able to take Marko down and continue his tour to destroy the planet.
The two warriors looked at each other, and Marko made a very quick move to go for the first attack. He threw a punch to Deathcloud’s face, and it connected, but Deathcloud didn’t move much. Marko backed off to dodge a punch from Deathcloud, then he charged forward once again to attack with a barrage of punches. Deathcloud was able to punch Marko in the middle of his punches, knocking him back. Marko was still on his feet, so Deathcloud fired a fireball at Marko. He dodged the attack by jumping towards Deathcloud, and he attacked with a Mega Kick to his head. Deathcloud dodged the attack and kicked Marko in his stomach as he landed, leaving him doubled over. He punched Marko into the air, then he jumped up and punched him again, back down to the ground. When Deathcloud landed, Marko was beginning to get up, but Deathcloud created a flaming geyser right under him, blasting him into the air and doing even more damage to him. As Marko was in the air, Deathcloud flew up to his level and launched a fire beam at Marko. The attack connected and sent Marko flying far away.
Deathcloud flew to follow Marko’s flying body. When Marko hit the ground, he almost immediately got up and jumped at Deathcloud, much to his surprise, and he almost hit a Mega Kick, but Deathcloud was able to dodge it at the last second. As Marko missed and started to land, he turned around and shot a Megodoken at Deathcloud, which he dodged. He dived down towards Marko, shooting a few fireballs on his way down. Marko dodged the fireballs, with every movement putting him closer to Deathcloud. When Deathcloud was close enough, he jumped up and went for a Mega Kick. The attack connected, knocking Deathcloud to the ground, but he got up quick enough to avoid the stomp attempt from Marko.
With Deathcloud on his feet, he tried to attack Marko with a punch, but he weaved the punch and retaliated with a right hook that caught Deathcloud off guard. He followed that up with an immediate Bazooka Blast, which connected and sent Deathcloud flying. Deathcloud was able to land on his feet, but Marko charged at him, not wanting to give Deathcloud a chance to breath. As Marko ran, Deathcloud made another fire geyser, and it hit Marko, knocking him up into the air. Deathcloud quickly took to the air to attack Marko, but he was able to recover and he countered a missed kick from Deathcloud with a Mega Kick of his own that knocked Deathcloud to the ground. Deathcloud landed on his feet, and he launched a fire beam that hit Marko before he could land. The fire beam sent Marko flying, and he hit the ground, so Deathcloud flew at Marko’s downed body.
Marko stayed on the ground as Deathcloud charged. When Deathcloud was in range, he tried to attack Marko, but he rolled to avoid the attack and got up. Deathcloud landed and turned around, only to get hit with a Blaze Dash. The attack knocked Deathcloud into the air, so Marko ran to jump and attack him. When he attacked, Deathcloud recovered, flew higher into the air, and he blasted Marko to the ground with a fireball. When Marko landed, Deathcloud landed, and he made a fire geyser, but Marko was able to roll and dodge this one. He got up and Blaze Dash pass Deathcloud, which prompted him to turn around. This let Marko connect ten rapid punches, and he followed it up with ten rapid kicks. After the kicks, Marko knocked Deathcloud into the air with a hard uppercut, then he jumped and knocked him higher into the air with a kick. After the kick, Marko landed and kept Deathcloud in the air with a double kick, then one more kick that knocked him higher into the air. Marko jumped at Deathcloud, but Deathcloud recovered. Deathcloud went for a punch, but Marko dodged the punch and countered with a Mega Kick that knocked Deathcloud to the ground, and he immediately followed up the Mega Kick with a Bazooka Blast. The attack connected, and Deathcloud was left on the ground, felling pain from all of Marko’s attacks.
Deathcloud got up, only to see Marko charging at him once more. He made a flaming geyser pop up, but Marko was able to dodge it, as though he knew when Deathcloud was going to make a fire geyser pop up. Marko went for a flying Mega Kick, but Deathcloud dodged it by taking off into the air, where he felt safe.
“That’s it!” Deathcloud yelled. “You shall delay the inevitable no more!”
Deathcloud held his hands into the air, and a big fireball appeared.
“I shall destroy this planet in one shot!”
The fireball got bigger.
“I wanted to go on tour and torment everybody...”
The fireball got even bigger.
“But fuck that! It gets destroyed now!”
The fireball got even bigger than it already was.
“And don’t think I forgot about your special treatment asshole!”
The fireball got even bigger than that.
“Fuck you,” Marko said, getting ready to charge up an attack to combat this huge fireball “Final...”
“Still trying to stop me? Don’t you know? Your own people caused this! This is what they wanted to see!”
“Bazooka...”
“Whatever! DIE! ARMAGEDDON NOVA!”
“BEAM!”
Deathcloud tossed the huge fireball down at Marko and the Earth, and Marko launched his Final Bazooka Beam at the blast. The Final Bazooka Beam collided with the Armageddon Nova, and at first there was a stalemate, until the Armageddon Nova proved to be stronger. Marko simply added a huge boost of power into the Final Bazooka Beam, and suddenly, he was pushing the Armageddon Nova back at Deathcloud.
“What? No! Impossible! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!”
The Final Bazooka Beam shoved the Armageddon Nova back in the direction from which it came, and Deathcloud had no chance of escaping it. He put his hands on the Armageddon Nova blast, hoping to be able to push it back and save himself, but the blast was being pushed too fast by the Final Bazooka Beam, and it was able to burn off his hands. The attack continued to burn off the rest of his arms before their was a huge explosion that could be felt around the world. The light was blinding, and the explosion was huge, practically destroying everything in the immediate area. The last thing Marko heard before all of the light went to black was a feint voice that said, “Thank you Marko Man.”
**********
Marko woke up. He found himself laying in a hospital bed. He sat up, looked around, and saw nobody in the room with him.
"Uhh... hello?"
Marko looked for someone to answer, and a nurse came through the door.
"Oh good!" she said. "You're awake!"
Marko was completely confused because the last thing he remembered was an explosion and some voice thanking him.
"Did I die or something?"
"Nope," the nurse replied. "You were found unconscious in an area where people were sure that you should have died. But after the explosion that you were in, everything went back to normal. The streets, the cars, the houses... everything. Not even a hint of fire. People went back, and they found you lying in the street, so EMT's brought you here. We ran tests on you and you were perfectly fine."
"Really? No burns?"
"Nothing."
Marko held up the hand that Deathcloud burned in the fight. No pain. No scars. No scabs. The hand was just fine.
"Wow."
"Yeah. A huge miracle."
"A huge miracle indeed."

Marko Man and NaNoWriMo
Marko Man practically writes itself.
I'm doing NaNoWriMo (50,000 words for the month of November), and as it stands, I'm at about 20,000 words right now, which is relatively on par with where I should be. Given the proper time, I should be able to crush that, as I'm finally off and running with the first book.
I have to admit that I did, in fact, begin again on November 1st, making this the third time I started writing, but I'm on it, I'm writing it, and I'm cruising. I'm doing things a little differently though, the biggest of which is writing every chapter as an Episode (at least for the time being). For whatever reason, it's tricking my mind into being much more interesting in the writing, probably because I've been writing on the Internet for so long and I've called them Episodes. Whatever the case may be, doing it this way also allows me to create the entire Marko Man universe. I don't have any showing of it yet, but eventually, I'll be writing episodes that will fill plot holes between books and be able to introduce new characters and new teams and new villains and new worlds and such. And then, when it's all said and done, I'll have a complete Marko Man universe, and I'll be able to deal with the stories how I want to deal with them.
Most of all, I'm definitely having fun writing these stories, and in the end, that's what matters. I just wrote a finished off a fight that I had imagined in my head for quite a while, and damn it, it felt good to finally get that story off, as well the build up.
However, only one quarter of the first book is done. There's plenty more action and mayhem to be written for this first book alone.
And then, of course, there's the future. Who knows what the future has in store for Marko Man. Sure, I may know the general path of where the series is going and when it will end up, but by writing things in the form of episodes, I can fit things in and remove things and move things in what I psychologically feel is much easier. So if I come up with an idea mid-write, I can just throw in an episode and I'll figure out what to do with it when I'm done with the drafts.
As far as NaNoWriMo is concerned, I wouldn't be surprised if I hit the 50,000 word mark way before Novermber 30th, unlike last year where I believe I hit it at the last hour. As long as I allocate the time to writing (which is much easier to do since I've deactivated my FaceBook), the word flow freely... at least now. I'm pretty sure that I'll get to 50,000, and unlike last year's book, I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to keep going until I'm done and/or good and ready to stop.
Thing is, I have to face the fact, Marko Man is my calling. Any story idea that I come up with should simply be Marko Man-ified, for lack of a better word. And with the concept of episodes, there are plenty of story ideas that I had that I can just throw into the Marko Man universe seemingly at will... well, at least it can be at will after I finish establishing Marko Man basics, which is what the first book is kinda sorta supposed to do.
Even ideas from the book I started last year will probably end up in the Marko Man series somewhere. Actually, I can assure you that it will.
So yeah. Marko Man is my calling.
And poetry. I think I've gotten pretty good at that, but that's not the point.
Marko Man shall live, and you shall live to read about it. :D

Do What Feels Write
What's the difference between the stories that you wrote with no intent on publishing them and the story that you wrote that was a part of the official series? Quality. The story that had no publishing intentions was leagues better.
Stop worrying about publishing. You didn't start writing to get published. You got into writing to escape. Your stories are not literature, and you know that your stories are not literature, so stop trying to make it into what it is not. Embrace the fact that your stories are not literature. Embrace what your stories truly are: words, sentences, paragraphs, and chapters of epic action packed masterpieces.
You still have your inner child, but you should not be suppressing your inner child when you write. When you write with the goal of getting published, this is seemingly what you do. When you don't, your inner child is free and you make gold. Forget getting published. Unleash your inner child. Write gold.
What you write is your world. Breathe it. Feel it. Live it. Experience it. Unleash it. Feel no pressure to enhance a world that you already created, that already exists, with your vastly improved writing skills. Make the same plot mistakes that you made when you started. Add the unnecessary adventure. Fight the unnecessary fight. Do what feels right. More importantly, do what feels write.

False Start
So I came up with some rules for the books I'm writing:
1) If good things happen to the good guys for no logical reason, there must be a consequence.
2) If good things happen to the good guys for a logical reason, there can still be a consequence.
3) If good things happen to the bad guy for no logical reason, we call it plot advancement. lol
I was also trying to ensure character development and employ themes and make things interesting and all kinds of funny shit. But in the end, I was forgetting the most important rule to writing, and especially to writing the Marko Man series:
HAVE FUN!
And thus, I had a false start. The start in and of itself was weak, and it was probably due to all the prssure of all the rules that I was coming up with. So no more pressure. I'm gonna start over (I didnt get that deep though, maybe 300 words in) and I'm gonna have fun with it.
I can deal with all the intellecutal depths when I start the rewrites. But for now? I have to remember...
Fun Comes First.

A Random Adventure Within My Mind Part 10
King started to glow his golden aura again, and his power was increasing again, and he was growing slightly bigger. Team Ultimate looked on in awe at King's growing power, unsure of what was coming next.
"It is time I end this," King said. "No more games, I will have to crush all of you!"
King suddenly vanished before the Team's eyes. A quick analysis from Cyron found that King had teleported himself a few miles away from his original location, hovering in the sky, still glowing.
"What's he planning?" Keisha asked Cyron.
"Inconclusive," he replied.
"Great intel," Convict said.
"So what are we gonna do?" RPJ asked.
"We take the staff and we take the crown," Marko said with determination in his voice, "that's what."
"But Marko --"
"Nope, no excuses," Marko interrupted. "Forget them. We don't have time to think about our weakness or our disadvantages. Only think of your strengths. We can do this."
Suddenly, the ground started to quake. The buildings around them started to shake, and then they started to rise up out of the ground. The Team looked and saw all of the building that were once down on the ground floating.
"Holy shit."
The buildings started to fall down towards the team. Cyron was able to dodge the buildings relatively easily being airborne, but the others had to rush and run as fast as they could to avoid the falling buildings. Cyron watched as the building fell in the attempt of crushing his teammate, and he seriously couldn't tell if they made it out all right. He noticed Marko climbing out of the rubble first, then Keisha, then Convict and RPJ.
"What the fuck was that?" Keisha said. "How the fuck --"
"I dunno yet," Marko interrupted once again, "but we are. Period. Wanna know why?"
"'Cause we're fucking Team Ultimate," Convict said, getting into Marko's heroic spirit.
"Fuck yeah."
As if to challenge the renewed Team Ultimate spirit, more buildings started flying in the air.
"Fuck it," Marko said. "We need the crown, and we need the staff. Let's do this."
Marko took off running in King's direction towards the buildings. Convict followed, with RPJ and Keisha running as well, and Cyron still in the air.
"YOU GUYS ARE FOOLS!" King said. "YOU CAN NOT CONTEND WITH MY POWER! DIE!"
The buildings started to fly towards the Team. One was headed towards Marko, and he was able to quickly use a Blaze Dash to avoid the building completely and continued to run. Convict found himself smashing his way through the building with his raw strength. RPJ hopped onto the building that came his way, climbed on the long top side of it, and started to run on it as it passed him by. Keisha used her hair to get a building clear out of her way. Cyron used his Heavy Bullet Cannon to blast a building into smithereens.
Marko was ahead of the pack, and he kept running as building kept flying into his path. He stayed quick on his feet, making long strides to dodge the buildings. King came to the conclusion that he probably wasn't going to hit Marko, so he sent two buildings Convict's way. Convict managed to crush his way into one, but before he could crush his way out of it, a second building collapsed on him. Marko turned around and found himself Bazooka Blasting the debris away to try and help Convict get out. Cyron clear dodged a building that was headed his way to help Marko out with the save Convict process by using his Heavy Bullet Cannon to help get Convict out. Keisha got in on the help as well by using her hair to pick up debris.
Meanwhile, RPJ kept pressing ahead. The buildings were still flying, but for the most part, they seemed to be headed for the rest of the Team while RPJ was able to get a clear run in for a while. Marko, Cyron, and Keisha teamed up to keep the buildings out of the way while RPJ kept running towards King seemingly unnoticed. Convict finally busted his way out of the mess he was in, and he pressed forward. Just as he got out, the ground below RPJ's feet started to shake just to knock him down, and a building was falling towards him while he was down on the ground. Convict was able to make his way to RPJ and stood over him to punch a hole in the building to make sure that neither him or RPJ would get crushed.
"Help them out," Marko commanded. "I've got the diversion covered."
Marko quickly jumped on the building that was crumbling on top of Convict and RPJ, and he Blaze Dashed the remaining length of the fallen building and launched himself into the air. He shot a single Megodoken towards King, not to hit or do damage if it did hit, but simply make himself the spectacle of the hour. King saw Marko, and sent four buildings his way. He was pretty easily able to Blaze Dash out of the way of the four buildings, still headed towards King.
Cyron and Keisha was able to get Convict and RPJ out of the latest building's last mess pretty easily.
"You guys all right?" Keisha asked.
"Yeah," RPJ replied, "but next time? I'm on top."
"Whatever," Convict said.
"Stop joking," Cyron said, "we gotta help Marko out, and he's already ridiculously far ahead."
The rest of the Team started to press forward while Marko was still diverting all the attention of King and his flying buildings. Marko was avoiding the buildings clearly, and he continued to press forward. King noticed that he was unable to hit Marko with any of these buildings, and he knew that he would be within striking range pretty soon, so he decided to leave him alone and sent buildings towards the rest of the Team. Marko saw the buildings fly past him, which made him stop. He turned around to see that the Team was able to handle themselves, but he was pretty sure that he was going to need the rest of the Team to help finish the job against King, so he came to a stop.
King continued to send buildings at RPJ, Cyron, Convict, and Keisha. While they were doing their best to keep the buildings from smashing them into dust, it was slowing down their process immensely, especially since King decided to send more buildings at them at a given time.
"I hope this doesn't drain me too much," Marko said, "but I'm going to need them for this to work... here goes nothing."
Marko started to charge up an attack.
"Final..."
Marko was charging up the most powerful attack in his arsenal.
"Bazooka..."
He was hoping that he could use it to try and slow down King's building hurling ways.
"Beam!"
Marko launched the Final Bazooka Beam at King. It completely obliterated a building that was flying in its path, and it hit King. It seemed to have done some damage, as King let it hit him, not expecting it to be as powerful as it was especially from the distance, but it hit, it hurt, and it did slow King down a bit, giving the rest of the Team time to catch up.
Marko stopped the attack as the rest of the Team progress past him. Cyron took the time to slow up and check on Marko.
"You okay man?"
"I'll be fine."
"You sure? You used up a lot of energy doing that."
"Maybe, but I'm not going to be able to take off his crown and relief him of his staff by myself. We got to do this. Emphasis on we."
"Affirmative."
Cyron took off flying again while Marko gathered energy and started running. King launched a few more buildings at Team Ultimate, and they were able to get pass the buildings just fine, so he stopped launching them.
"YOU FOOLS! YOU AMAZE ME! BUT YOU CAN STOP AMAZING ME NOW!"
King staff started to glow, then he launched a huge beam in the direction of the Team. They were able to split up and dodge it, but the beam was definitely powerful enough to wipe out any one of them in one shot. He launched this extra powerful beam at Cyron, who was flying and was able to dodge the blast easily. He then launched it at RPJ, who was fast enough on his feet to dodge the blast. Cyron's analysis led him to the conclusion that Keisha was next target, and he had a feeling that she wouldn't be limber enough to dodge the beam on her own, so he flew just above her. Sure enough, the next beam from King was aimed at Keisha.
"Keisha!" Cyron yelled. "Grab my hand!"
Keisha immediately used her hair to grab Cyron's hand, and Cyron pulled her up while she pulled herself up. With the momentum from all that movement, Cyron was able to launch her forward for quite a distance. King witnessed the teamwork from Team Ultimate, and it started to frustrate him.
"OKAY, SO YOU'RE A TEAM? HOW ABOUT I DIVIDE AND CONQUER?"
King went back to lifting up buildings, but this time he made sure he had about twenty buildings.
"Convict, meet up with RPJ!" Marko yelled. "Cyron, you with Keisha!"
"What about you?" RPJ yelled back.
"Don't worry about me. I'll be fine."
Buildings flew towards Cyron and Keisha, and Cyron was able to fly Keisha out of the way of the buildings. Buildings flew towards RPJ and Convict, and they pretty much punched, kicked, batted, and smashed their way out of that mess. Marko, on the other hand, maintained his location as the buildings came his way, and they slammed into him.
"Whoa!" Keisha said, seeing what happened. "Marko! We gotta get him out of there."
Cyron was about to fly over to help Marko.
"He said he'll be fine," Convict said. "Let him rock and let's get to King."
"But --"
"He'll be fine."
Convict and Keisha nodded, then the rest of the Team proceeded towards King.
"YOU'VE LOST YOUR BEST MAN AND YOU THINK YOU CAN TAKE ME?"
"What makes you think he was the best?" Convict said, obviously insulted by King's statement. He charged forward, really wanting to sock King in the face. King fired a huge blast at Convict, and he was able to dodge it, but the explosion still knocked Convict off course.
"PLEASE! WITHOUT MARKO MAN, YOU'RE ALL NOTHING."
"Now that's where you're wrong," RPJ said, making his move. King sent five buildings RPJ's way, so he jumped on one of them, then he jumped towards another, and another, and another, but that building collided with the last one, which messed RPJ's footing for the final jump off the final building wall, having him fall towards the ground.
"AND I PROVE THAT YOU'RE NOTHING ONCE AGAIN! MARKO'S DOWN? YOU'RE ALL DOWN!"
Cyron analyzed the current situation, trying to come up with a plan, but he had nothing because he did not know about the unknown that was Marko Man. He looked like he was finished under the rubble of the buildings, but Convict was sure that he was fine, so he didn't know what to do.
"If you're confused, you could at least let me go so that I can try and help the others."
Cyron looked at Keisha, then he let her drop towards the ground.
"I'll provide cover," Cyron said. "Bullet Cannon!"
To conserve energy, Cyron used the Bullet Cannon as opposed to the Heavy Bullet Cannon, and he sent those blasts King's way. King didn't bother paying those blasts any mind, and he launched a building at Cyron. Cyron dodged the building and continued to shoot. King continued to pay the blasts no mind, but this time he launched that powerful beam attack of his. Cyron was able to dodge that was well, and he continued to fire at King.
"YOU LIKE RAPID FIRE BLASTS? GET A LOAD OF THIS!"
King created ten huge golden energy blasts and had them hover around him. He then launched four golden energy blasts into the sky.
"IT'S CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF DOOM!"
The blasts that were surrounding King exploded and sent an uncountable amount of blasts the Team's way. At the same time, the blasts that were in the air exploded and also sent an uncountable amount of blasts the Team's way. Before he had to deal with the blasts, he saw Marko in the distance, behind King waving.
"Cyron, I can find Convict... holy shit! Cyron watch out!"
Cyron looked up, and he saw the blasts coming down towards him. Keisha took cover under a piece of brick, hoping that it would protect her. Cyron dived down towards Keisha, dodging blasts all over the place. They were seemingly coming from all directions, and once Cyron got to Keisha, he managed to blast a deeper hole in order to protect Keisha and himself from the onslaught of blasts that King had launched with all of his power.
Soon, the all of the blasts had finished up. King looked in the distance, and he didn't see any of the heroes anywhere.
"YES! YES! THEY'RE FINALLY FINISHED! I KILLED THEM!"
King's power and size started to decrease back to what it was before he decided that he could no longer hold back. He landed on the ground triumphantly, proud of the fact that he was able to take Team Ultimate down.
"Now all I have to do is reap their souls," King said. "They were a persistent bunch. I never thought I'd ever have to use that much power. But no matter, with them dead, I can reap their very, very strong souls, and no one will be able to stop me!"
King raised his staff in the air, hoping to reap the souls of the fallen Team Ultimate members, but nothing happened.
"What? What's going on?"
"Turn around and find out."
King heard Marko's voice, and he turned around, surprised to see all five Team Ultimate members still in tact. Keisha wrapped her hair around King's arm and King's neck. Convict held Keisha's hair in place, and Cyron held Keisha's body in place, in case King threw up last second resistance, which he did.
"Hurry!" Convict said. "Hit him now!"
"Static Shock!"
RPJ hopped forward and popped King in his chin with the Static Shock kick. It forced him to release his staff to Keisha's hair, and with a Blaze Dash from Marko, he scooped up his crown from his tilted head. With neither his crown or his staff, King was completely powerless, and he fell to the ground, hurt from RPJ's kick.
"Well, look at that," Marko said. "Never has it been more fitting to say checkmate."
King struggled to get up. He looked, and he found himself completely surrounded and with no defense. Marko slammed the crown to the ground and stomped on it, and Convict took the staff from Keisha's hair and broke it in half.
"And with that, all the souls you stole should be able to rest in peace," Marko said. "And you? Well, I could care less about what happens to your soul. Bazooka Blast!"
Marko launched one last Bazooka Blast at King, and it killed him instantly.
"Still ruthless against evil, I see," RPJ noticed.
"Yup," Marko replied. "Well, I guess we can go home."
"Yeah..." Keisha said, "how exactly are we getting home exactly?"
"With this."
Marko pulled out a device, pressed a button, and a wormhole that was supposed to take them back to their home dimension was made.
"Wait a second, this was a different dimension?" RPJ said. "How the fuck was anyone supposed to know that?"
"Yeah, and do you what kind of plot holes this creates?" Convict said. "How did we get here in the first place?"
"Guys, guys, you're reading too much into this," Marko said. "I'm starting the real series soon, this was merely a tune up, and I just came up with the 'not so obviously another dimension' thing like, maybe, three parts ago. And besides, this wasn't about plot or character development or anything like that. I was just trying to make this as epic as possible. And was it epic?"
"Affirmative," Cyron replied immediately. "Very epic indeed."
"Alrighty then. So King's dead, souls can rest in peace, and the story, even with all its deficiencies, was epic, so we can go home. Missions accomplished. We rock. Now wait until I'm done with the series and you see what I really have in store for you guys."
Marko walked towards the wormhole with a smile on his face.
"Wait!" Cyron said.
"What now?" Marko said.
"The destination that wormhole will send us is relatively inconclusive... there's a chance we might go home, and there's a chance we might end up in another dimension."
"Well Cyron, if you don't want to enter, and you'd rather stay here..."
Marko pointed at the mass destruction that laid behind them with all the buildings and all of the King's lifeless minions.
"... then you're more than welcome to stay here."
"We'll miss you!" Keisha joked.
"Speak for yourself," Convict added. "One less teammate means more spotlight for me!"
"You mean more looking like an idiot," RPJ said. "You have nothing to gain from Cyron staying here."
"Hmmm... you're right."
Convict grabbed Cyron and pulled him towards the wormhole.
"Come on, get in there you sonofaglitch."
Convict pushed Cyron into the wormhole. RPJ shook his head and followed. Marko took Keisha's hand and helped her in.
"After you."
"You ain't slick."
"I wasn't trying to be."
Keisha entered the wormhole, Marko followed, and the wormhole was closed.
"It is time I end this," King said. "No more games, I will have to crush all of you!"
King suddenly vanished before the Team's eyes. A quick analysis from Cyron found that King had teleported himself a few miles away from his original location, hovering in the sky, still glowing.

THE END
*************************
That little exchange between Marko and Keisha at the end was in reference to a joke that I used to use but I'm pretty sure I won't be using in the actual series... I might change my mind about it, I'm kinda on the fence with it for different reasons... but we'll see what happens.
And anyway, that is the end of this Random Adventure Within My Mind. It was fun as hell to write (when I was writing it) and I hope you had fun reading it. Eventually, I'll link this thing up properly for easier reading in the future for both future readers and returning readers, but for now, this thing is over...
Oh wait... I almost forgot... I had an alternate ending in mind. LOL I'll definitely have it done before August ends.
I do have some other Marko Man material I want to put up here, such as the few Sparring Sessions I wrote and this one story that I have to transfer from paper and pen to computer that I wrote... I got some pretty cool stuff coming in the distant future, but for now, I'm seriously getting the Marko Man series started.
Seriously.
So until next time, friends.
And yeah, Alternate Ending to this is coming before August ends. I'm sure of it. :}D

A Random Adventure Within My Mind Part 9
Project, Jack, Ace, and all of the motorcyclists, bandits, and red bombers bowed down before their King and Queen. Meanwhile, Team Ultimate stayed on their feet, bowing to no one.
"Fools!" King said. "Why do you not bow before your King?"
"Because we don't have a king," Marko spoke.
"Disrespectful fools..."
"You haven't earned a lick of respect."
King looked at Team Ultimate with disgust, truly upset that they did not bow before him.
"It is clear that you do not know my power," King said. "If you did, you would kneel, and you would show respect, and for your heinous actions, you would beg for mercy."
"You sent a million mother fuckers to try and kill me... kill us, and they couldn't do it. And now you think we're supposed to fear and respect your 'power?' Please."
"Ahhh, I get it... you don't truly understand the full extend of my power. You don't even understand why 'a million mother fuckers' were sent to kill you. You probably don't even know why I was setting off explosions... you know nothing. And your ignorance will be your downfall."
"Oh really? Well save me, ol' great King! Save me from ignorance! Enlighten me! Please!"
Marko's sarcasm did not amuse King.
"Since it's way too late for you to do anything about anything and I'm going to kill you all anyway, I might as well tell you what's going on... you see... the explosions have two purposes... killing people to obtain their souls, and putting those who survive in panic. And what do I do with those souls? I control them. I manipulate them. I put them in whatever vessel I want for my own use. Some souls are stronger than others, hench is the case with Jack and Ace. And Project is a special case... a vessel that can hold more than one soul, and therefore strengthened with every added soul. Right now, he's at eight souls."
The story that King told Team Ultimate blew their minds.
"So that's why they called me in... but I had no idea..."
"Of course you had no idea!" King continued. "You weren't supposed to have an idea. You were supposed to die, simple as that. But apparently I have underestimated you. Your soul is not only stronger than I originally thought, but it is very resourceful... resourceful enough that you managed to bring four more souls for my consumption!"
"Wait a second," Convict said, stepping up, "you ain't consuming anymore souls busta."
"Still, you have no idea..."
King held his staff up into the air, and the top end of it revealed a white jewel that immediately started to glow.
"Queen, Jack, Ace, Project, and all of my subjects! Lend me your souls to crush these pathetic peasants and their souls to my collection!"
A white aura was generated from Queen, Jack, Ace, and Project. It seemed to seep out of them and into the white jewel, and then they fell lifelessly to the floor. White auras were also generated from all the motorcyclists, the bandits, and the red bombers from near and far, and they were all seeping out of them and finding their way into the King's staff. They were all falling to the floor as well. With each absorbed soul, King was growing more powerful, and Team Ultimate could tell.
"Ummm... perhaps we should try and stop this," RPJ suggested.
"Doesn't matter," Cyron said, "the soul absorption would continue until it is complete."
"Then perhaps we can still hurt him before he's finished," Convict said, charging at King. He jumped and punched King in the face, and it knocked him down, but he still had the staff in his hand, and it was still absorbing souls. He quickly got up with an evil grin on his face, and Convict once again charged at him. This time, King swung the staff at him and sent him to the ground, all the while still absorbing souls.
"You can't stop me, peons!" King said. "Kneel before your master and maybe I will show you mercy!"
"Fuck outta here," Marko said. "Bazooka Blast!"
Marko fired the attack at King, and he knocked it into the ground with a downward swing of his staff.
"You're powerless against me...ahhhh... almost complete!"
Convict got up, and he was ready to attack again, but King flashed. After the flash, he was even bigger, and his staff and his crown was different.
"On your knees, dog."
King swung the staff and sent Convict flying before he landed on his back. The rest of the team looked Convict, then at King. Marko also took time to notice all of the King's subjects that were lying down on the ground with no life in them.
"You coward..."
Marko stepped forward slowly.
"It's one thing to have a team, but you killed innocent lives for your own personal greed? And to what? To rule what?"
"To have complete and utter control of all souls!"
King fired a blast at Marko, but he jumped up to dodge it.
"Well, you're not getting my soul!"
Marko landed and ran towards King.
"And if I can do something about it, I'll let all of these people get their souls back! Mega Kick!"
Marko went for the Mega Kick, but King swung his staff and knocked him down to the ground.
"Bow down, or die!"
Marko was getting up, but RPJ and Cyron decided to get in some action, with RPJ running at King ready to attack while Cyron provided cover with a Bullet Cannon volley. RPJ jumped off of Marko's back, getting extra height than King expected him to get, and he took a drop kick to his face. This led to King getting hit with blasts from Cyron. As the shots were hitting him and kept King off balance, Keisha stepped up herself and had her hair wrap King's leg up. Convict was up by now, and he charged King, wrapping himself around the back of his neck to choke him out. Marko got up, and he started to charge up a Bazooka Blast.
"I'm sorry," King said, "but is this supposed to defeat me?"
King fired a blast at Marko before he could finish charging up his attack. He launched the Bazooka Blast early, but it lost easily to King's blast and hit him, hurting him and leaving on the ground. He then swung the staff to hit Convict off his back, then used the staff to pluck at Keisha's hair, which knocked her in the air then back to the ground. He spun around to ravel the hair around his legs and bring Keisha closer. Cyron saw this, so he charged in to try and save her, but Cyron took a blast from King's staff, knocking him out of the air and on the ground. Keisha decided to release her hair's grip, but by that point, she was too close and King smashed her to the ground with the staff.
RPJ decided to pull out his RPBat to content directly with King's staff. He ran at King, ready for any kind of attack from him. King fired a blast at him, and RPJ swung his bat to knock the blast back to King, but the blast exploded on contact, knocking him to the ground.
Marko and Convict got up around the same time, and Convict decided to charge in, albeit a bit more slowly this time so that he could see an attack coming. Marko ran behind him a bit before Blaze Dashing into King, but the attack wasn't very effective. King retaliated by swinging the staff at Marko, but he managed to duck under the swing, and this gave Convict the chance to grab King. Marko jumped up and connected a Mega Kick to King's face while Convict had him in his grasp. Convict jumped up and tried to slam King on the ground, but King took off flying, having Convict lose all control but still maintaining his hold.
Cyron looked up and saw King flying in the air with Convict holding on. King decided to smash his staff against Convict as hard as he could, but Convict was still holding on. Cyron took flight, hoping to try and give Convict help, but King saw him coming and changed the direction of his flight by going up. Cyron chased King, going up as high as he could.
Marko looked up, wondering why they were going so high.
"Keisha, mind giving me a boost?"
Keisha was pretty hurt, but she still had enough in her to use her hair to launch Marko up in the air, so she nodded. She grabbed him with her hair, then launched him up high to try and meet up with King, Convict, and Cyron. As Marko was launched, Cyron noticed Marko was going up, so he flew to catch him and give him a ride. He caught Marko and had him on his extended shoulders, and they flew towards King.
"What are you planning to do?" Cyron asked.
"Kill him," Marko responded.
"Yeah, but how?"
"I dunno yet... maybe beat his ass?"
"I have a good feeling that it won't be that simple."
"Shut up and get him."
Cyron increased the speed of his flight, catching up to King, who still had Convict on his back.
"Mega Kick!"
Marko jumped off of Cyron to fly at King and try to Mega Kick him. King was able to spin around and hit Marko, knocking him out of his Mega Kick and have him fall back to the earth from quite the height. Cyron dived down, knowing that he had to catch Marko or he would have been quite hurt from the impact of the fall, but King spun three more times before firing a blast at Cyron that he wasn't paying attention to. The blast hit Cyron, and now he was on the way to the ground via pain. King kept spinning, and Convict started to get dizzy, so he smashed the staff on his back on last time, and this hit knocked the dizzied Convict off of him and he started to fall as well.
RPJ and Keisha were looking up, and they saw that Marko, Cyron, and Convict were falling.
"Who catches who?" RPJ asked.
"You stick to the lightweight," Keisha said, "my hair should be able to catch Convict and Cyron pretty easily actually."
"Gotcha."
RPJ and Keisha waited as their teammate plummeted towards the ground. Suddenly, King appeared in between them using a teleport. He hit Keisha with the staff, knocking her down, and he blasted RPJ down with a powerful shot. With both RPJ and Keisha down, Marko, Cyron, and Convict hit the ground hard.
"HA!" King said. "You fools are feeling pain that you don't have to feel! Hail the king, and I will make great use of your souls!"
But Marko somehow managed to land on his feet.
"When we're done here, the souls that you have stolen will soon rest in peace," Marko determined. "Your soul, on the other hand, will burn in hell!"
"Interesting... you said 'we're,' implying you and some other people. But those 'other people' are down right now."
Marko looked and saw that his team was down and hurting at the moment.
"Okay, so I'll run interference. Megodoken!"
Marko fired a Megodoken at the King, and it was swiped away with the staff. King returned fire with a few blasts sent Marko's way, and he dodged all the blasts, making his moves towards the King. After the missed shots, Marko jogged towards King, and King tried to hit him with the staff. Marko ducked under the staff and countered with a jumping uppercut to King's chin. He landed and King tried to hit him with the staff once again. Marko jumped over the staff and connected a Mega Kick that knocked King back a bit, but King was still barely hurt. King teleported to the air, then he dived down trying to smash the staff over the top of Marko's head, but the attack was sidestepped and Marko jumped up to connect another Mega Kick, which was followed up immediately with a Bazooka Blast. The Bazooka Blast hit, but still, King wasn't hurt much at all. He immediately swiped at Marko and sent him flying before he hit a wall. King flew towards Marko, with the staff glowing, and he hit Marko again, this time sending him through the wall and into the building.
King flew up into the air, the staff still glowing.
"And it looks like the first soul I will taking is yours!" King announced. "All I have to do is crush you current vessel and it will be mine!"
"Negative. Charged Cannon!"
Cyron was up and he fired a charged up blast at King. It connected, but there was still very little damage done to King. He redirected his attention towards Cyron, and fired off the blast that he had ready for the building to crush Marko. Cyron dodged the attack, then he fired a few shots from the Bullet Cannon attack. These blasts hardly did anything as King fired off more blasts, forcing Cyron to stop firing and avoid the attacks.
Marko hopped out of the building with a look of determination. He saw that the rest of his team was coming to, so he ran to RPJ.
"Yo, I need you guys to run interference," he told him. "I have an idea."
"Okay, but dude. We're fucking hurt."
"So am I. But we're about to end this. Keisha, come with me."
RPJ and Convict rushed in to get King's attention by jumping towards him while Cyron had his undivided attention. Meanwhile, Marko led Keisha to a random, yet seemingly specific spot.
"Okay, after I fire a Bazooka Blast, I'm going to need to grab the staff."
"... yeah, that makes sense. Smart move. Okay. After the Bazooka Blast."
"Right."
Marko moved once again as Cyron, RPJ, and Convict were dodging attacks from King, who was teleporting all over the place to try and hit the trio.
I'm going to need him to stop that, Marko thought.
Marko waited a bit, and when King found himself on the ground, Marko did a Blaze Dash, running into King, but it only stunned him for a moment. He turned around to try and hit Marko, but he dodged the attack without trying to counter, just standing there. This led to Convict grabbing King from behind and tossing him into the air. Once he was airborne, Cyron launched a Heavy Bullet Cannon, hoping to do some kind of damage, but King soon gained control of his flight while still getting hit with the blasts.
"Fuck it," Marko said, "Bazooka Blast!"
Marko launched the Bazooka Blast. It connected, but all it really did was turn King around and further his frustration. That's when Keisha's hair went into action, flying up to grab King's staff. She had it, but King wasn't just going to let go of the staff. He pulled on it, but Marko jumped up to him and connected a Mega Kick to his hand, which almost loosened his grip enough. Convict immediately jumped afterwards and delivered a hard punch to the back of King's head, which was enough to knock the crown off of King's head as well as knock the staff out of his hand.
As Keisha reeled the staff in, King fell to the ground. Marko walked over to Keisha to hold the staff and smiled in victory.
"Annnnnd you're done," Marko announced. "Good shit guys. This is why we're Team Ultimate."
King got up off the ground, looking at Marko hold his staff while Cyron, RPJ, and Convict grouped around Marko and Keisha, standing before King in victory. King looked around and he saw his crown. He put the crown back on and he held his hand out. The staff started to glow, then it magically disappeared out of Marko's hand and back into his. This move blew Team Ultimate's mind.
"You guys are really, really good," King said. "I am really impressed with how you guys handle things. But now, I see I can no longer hold back..."
"Fools!" King said. "Why do you not bow before your King?"
"Because we don't have a king," Marko spoke.
"Disrespectful fools..."
"You haven't earned a lick of respect."
King looked at Team Ultimate with disgust, truly upset that they did not bow before him.

King is about to pull out all the stops.
August is right around the corner.
I think that it is time to end this... and there's only one way to end this... as epicly as possible.

200 Words
So from August 1st to October 31st and from December 1st and so on until October 31st of next year, I will challenge myself to write at least 200 words a day for the Marko Man series.
200 words doesn't sound like much until you realize...
and that's what I'm gunning on. The 200 words a day would lessen pressure on days that are ridiculously busy (I can put up 200 words on my phone in, like, 10 minutes if need be), and on days that yield a bit more free time and/or inspiration, I'll easily crush the 200 word goal because...
But why am I skipping November?
Well, November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), so for that month, 50000 word will be in order. And I'll be dropping 50000 words whether I'm working on one book or in between two. The number is the goal for that month.
Inspiration tends to be the easy part. It's the discipline that needs work. And hopefully this will help that out, especilly with knocking out creative blackouts.
And that's that. I'll start writing the Marko Man series in August. Lets the story begin.
A Random Adventure Within My Mind Part 8
As Convict stood, ready to confront Project, Marko looked behind him, seeing the rest of the team fighting against the undying army of foes. He looked back ahead and he saw Project walking towards them, with a bloody Jack and a bruised Ace with him at his side. Project and Convict had made eye contact, and apparently from that they both took each other as a challenge, so they both started to run towards each other. Project's steps were rumbling the ground, and the tremors caught Convict off guard, forcing him to stop and gain his balance. Project smile, then he lunged towards Convict to grab him. Convict managed to avoid the grab with a side step, and Project landed on the ground on his stomach just in front of Marko. He fired a Bazooka Blast in his face, which hurt him quite a bit, but not enough that Project didn't try to smash Marko with his huge hands while still on the ground. Marko avoided the attack, and then Project was getting pulled away from Marko by Convict. He tried to hoist Project over his shoulders, but Project turned over on his back, sat up, and punched Convict in his face, knocking him back quite a distance.
Convict's movement stopped when he found himself up against the wall of a building, and he saw Project getting up. Convict took a few steps forward, but Project took off running. He tried to punch Convict, but he avoided the punch and grabbed his huge arm, swung himself up to Project's face, and kicked him in his nose. The kick made Project stumble a bit, but he stayed on his feet. Convict landed and punched Project's knee, but still he was on his feet. Convict continued to punch Project in his knee, but Project was still not getting knocked anywhere, and he was starting to get used to Convict's punches.
"You might as well be as weak as your friend," Project taunted. "Try some real strength!"
Project grabbed Convict and tossed him up in the air. Project jumped towards the airborne Convict, but Marko launched another Bazooka Blast that hit, messing up Project's concentration. With that distraction, Convict was able to grab Project's head around his neck and landed doing a Death Sentence, landing while slamming Project's face into the ground.
"Not gonna let you ruin this!" Ace said, pulling out his club. "Take this!"
He started to fire his lasers at Convict, and a few of the shots hit. This made Marko launched another Bazooka Blast, which Ace had to avoid. Convict turned his attention to Ace once he stopped shooting, but Project was getting back up. Marko noticed that Convict's attention was diverted from the bigger threat, so he ran, jumped, and Mega Kicked Project in the back of his head. Project turned around and tried to punch Marko, but the punch was dodged as Marko ran past Convict to attack Ace.
"Get the big fuck," Marko said. "I'll handle this dude. Mega Kick!"
Marko jumped towards Ace and connected a Mega Kick that knocked him to the ground as Convict turned around and ran towards Project. He jumped at Project and lead in with a shoulder charge at Project's chest, but Project hardly budged. He tried to grab Convict, but he knocked his hands away, jumped up again, and punched Project in his face. The punch stunned Project for a moment, which was enough for Convict to grab Project's arm and try to do some harm to him. Project was able to recover, however, took control of his arm, grabbed Convict, and sent him flying.
As Keisha was fighting off a motorcyclist, she noticed Convict flying out the corner of her eye. She used her hair and turned Convict's flight back around towards Project without him losing much momentum. Convict was now flying towards Project as Keisha decided to run towards Project. Convict used the flight to connect a mean flying punch in Project's face, which almost knocked him down. Project recovered and saw Convict land, but he didn't notice Keisha coming up on him from behind, and she used her hair to tie Project up. Project saw that he was begin tied up and he tried to fight out of it, but Convict was able to rush in and punch him in his legs as hard as he could. One punch was able to make Project collapse to one knee, and this gave Keisha the ability to lift Project into the air, then slam him into the ground. She was able to lift and slam Project in the air with her hair three more times before Project managed to get one hand free. Keisha tried to retract her hair, but Project had already grabbed her hair and reeled her in a bit. He swung Keisha into Convict, knocking him down, then he slammed Keisha into the ground.
"Ha! How do you like a dose of your own medicine? Not very healthy, is it?"
Cyron was blasting enemies when he heard the impact and heard Project's taunt. He turned around and he saw that Keisha was at Project's mercy, and this made him quite angry. He immediately turned his attention to Project, firing Bullet Cannon blasts at Project. The shots bothered him a bit, but he decided to use Keisha as a shield. Cyron analyzed that move before Project could do it, so he timed his last shot just perfectly so that when Project used Keisha as a shield, there were no more shots.
Cyron jumped over Keisha and hit Project with a Cannon Punch while maintaining flight. Project tried to punch him, but he dodged the attack and managed to fly around and connect another Cannon Punch. Project retaliated by swinging Keisha around like a weapon, but Cyron avoided her and fired at him with the Bullet Cannon. Project braced himself and swung Keisha around once more. This time Cyron grabbed Keisha and ended up landing on the ground. He upgraded his attack into a Heavy Bullet Cannon attack, and the blasts were connecting and doing more damage. Project tried to reel Keisha in to use her as a shield, but Cyron wasn't letting her go, so it only brought Cyron closer, which made the blasts closer and more numerous, which resulted in more damage for Project.
Project once again braced himself against the blasts, then he unleashed a mean punch that hit both Cyron and Keisha, sending them into a building through a wall. RPJ was fighting the forces when he heard them go through the building. He looked and all he saw was the dust from the resulting damage of Project's attack.
He's fucking huge, RPJ thought. Heh, that's what she said.
RPJ saw Convict running towards Project to attack him again, but Project turned around and delivered a back hand, sending Convict back where he ran from, making RPJ laugh.
That guy is pure comedy.
Project heard RPJ's laughter and turned his attention to him. This made RPJ stop laughing.
"Dude, I'm a tell you right now," RPJ said, "don't even bother attacking me."
RPJ's warning caught Project off guard.
"Am I supposed to be scared of you?" Project asked.
"You might as well be, because I'm about to show you a bad time. A very. Bad. Time."
"You're probably just as weak as the rest of them."
RPJ nodded, put his RPBat away, and walked towards Project with a angry expression on his face.
"Gonna fucking question me-"
Project threw a punch at RPJ, but he somersaulted under his fist and ended up behind him. RPJ jumped and hit him with a drop kick that almost sent Project to the ground on his face but he caught his balance. He turned around and saw RPJ walking towards him. He tried to grab him, but RPJ jumped on his huge arms and jumped off of them to deliver a spinning drop kick to Project's face, making him fall back a bit. RPJ landed and he continued to walk towards Project, who was growing more and more frustrated with RPJ's attack. He decided that he wouldn't attack this time, and would just wait and countered whatever RPJ was going to do.
RPJ looked at Project, noticing that he wasn't attacking anymore, so he went for Project's leg. Project moved his leg and tried to grab RPJ. RPJ blocked the grab and went for Project's arm. Project used his other hand to try and punch RPJ for trying to grab his arm. RPJ moved and temporarily had both of Project's hands in his grasp. Project opened his arms up, sure that he was would leave RPJ stunned, but RPJ released his hands before he opened his arms, so he left himself wide open.
"STATIC SHOCK!"
Out of the blue, RPJ stepped into a Static Shock had a whole lot of extra pop on it, knocking Project down on his back.
"Fucking idiot," RPJ said. "You don't challenge me to a wrestling match. I know all your moves muthafucka!"
Marko quickly ran into the scene after handling Ace and Jack on his own.
"Wow, you dropped him," Marko said. "That's gonna be a hard act to follow."
"He ain't shit," RPJ declared. "I'll do it again, no problem."
Project was getting up from his attack as the rest of the team had finally recovered from their attacks and regrouped with Marko and RPJ. Just as Project got up on both his feet, King and his Queen appeared between Project and Team Ultimate out of thin air.
"This?" King said, waving his staff aimlessly. "All of this? It comes to an end. And becomes mine. Now."
Hmmmm... ain't got much to say at this point.
August is right around the corner, so I do need to bring this to an end.
And I do need to make this mine.
I'll go into slightly more detail on that between now and Sunday.
For now... all I'm saying is... the end is near.

A Random Adventure Within My Mind Part 7
Marko landed from his flight, courtesy of Cyron, and he took off running. He felt as though he didn't have much time considering the huge numbers against him, and he really wanted to bring this fight to an end somehow, but he still have an idea much better than beat Jack and Ace up to the point that they'll stop the fighting. He was still going to go for it.
As he ran, he saw Jack and Ace sitting on a stairway that led into a random building. They looked and they noticed Marko coming, prompting them to get up on their feet.
"Whoa," Jack said. "How did you even get here?"
Marko came to a stop before the duo.
"I got to the top of the world, then I had some help coming back down."
"Dude. You left your team. Why? Plan on surrendering?"
"Actually, I was hoping that you guys would do the surrendering and stop this."
Jack and Ace looked at each other, then they bust out laughing. Marko already knew that the idea was ridiculous in context, but their laughter still angered him.
"Marko Man," Ace said after laughing, "you can't be serious."
"Oh, but I am. And I will gladly beat the both you into a bloody pulp until you call an end to all of this."
Jack and Ace saw that Marko was completely serious about trying to stop the massive fighting against his team, so the smiles disappeared.
"You're gonna beat us into a bloody pulp? I dare you to try."
"I didn't need to be dared."
Marko ran towards Jack. He threw a punch when he was close enough, which was blocked. Ace came in, trying to retaliate with a swing of his club, but Marko avoided the obvious attack by ducking, and Ace ended up hitting Jack in the face. Marko hit Jack with a Mega Kick, knocking him to the ground, then he moved towards him to stomp on him. Marko stomped on his face three times before Ace ran at him, trying to hit him with the club again. Marko took the club to the back, stumbling over Jack while turning around to face Ace. Ace jumped over Jack and tried to smash the club over the top of Marko's head as he landed. Marko side stepped the club and countered with a jab, that was followed up with five punches and two spin kicks, followed by an uppercut that knocked Ace into the air. He was about to jump into the air to continue his attack, but Jack grabbed his foot, messing up his balance and having him drop to the ground.
Jack got up, still with Marko's foot in his hand, then he took out his club. He was trying to hit Marko's leg, but his free leg kicked Jack away. Marko quickly got up and had to avoid attacks from Ace. As Marko avoided punches, kicks, and club swings from Ace, he noticed that Jack was aiming his club at Marko to fire lasers. Jack started firing, sure that he would hit Marko, but he grabbed Ace and pulled him into the line of fire while he moved out the way. The blast hit Ace, and Marko followed up with a punch, punch, Mega Kick combo, knocking Ace down.
Jack got angry at Marko's ability to avoid the attack, so he charged at him, firing more blasts from his club. Marko avoided the blasts while moving towards Jack. When they were close enough, Jack tried to hit Marko with the club, and he dodged it and countered with yet another Mega Kick, knocking him down.
Marko turned around and saw Ace rushing towards him, trying to get in a sneak attack. He quickly fired a Bazooka Blast at him, and it connected, sending him flying. Marko turned his attention back to Jack, who was in the process of getting back on his feet. Marko Blaze Dashed into him, knocking him back on the ground in a roll. Marko continued the pressure by jumping and landing an elbow drop on Jack's face, then he applied a headlock and started wailing on Jack's head. The whole time, he was watching Ace, who was running towards Marko again, and this time he was very angry.
Marko continued to punch Jack in his face until Ace was close enough, then he fired a Megodoken at him, adjusting his course. This gave Marko time to get up, but Ace was able to still get in the first move between them and get some offensive in. He kept his club swinging quick and precise, knowing that Marko would be able to avoid the majority of his attacks and not wanting him to be able to counter with ease. Marko dodged every attack, but Ace suddenly fired a blast at Marko and it connected, knocking him down to the ground.
Ace immediately rushed at the downed Marko, and he tried to slam the club into his legs. Marko moved his legs and kicked Ace in the face, and then got up in a spinning motion immediately after the kick. This gave Ace time to recover quickly enough to block the punches that Marko threw at him. As Marko kept throwing punches, Jack was able to get up.
"Marko Man!" Jack yelled.
That was just enough distraction to get him to stop throwing punches. Ace immediately swung the club and hit Marko in the face, knocking him down after a mean spin. Ace immediately grabbed Marko and picked him up so that Jack could get in free hits. Jack walked over towards him nonchalantly, believing that Marko was finished at this point.
"So you wanna stomp people out?" Jack taunted, pulling out his club. "You wanna try and beat people's face in? Well, trying implies failure, and you failed! Now here's your booby prize!"
"Mega Kick!"
Before Jack could even swing the club, Marko was able to get his foot up high enough to Mega Kick Jack in the face and knocking him into the air. As Jack was on his face down, Ace took Marko and tossed him towards the nearest building. Marko braced himself for the impact against the wall as Ace was charging towards him. Ace ran at him, elbow first, but Marko moved out of the way at the last minute, and Ace's elbow hit the wall and nothing else. Marko gave Ace a Mega Kick to his back, pinning him to the wall, then he followed up with a Bazooka Blast that sent Ace through the wall.
Marko immediately looked towards Jack, who was definitely hurt as evidenced by how long it was taking him to get up. Marko ran towards him and he Mega Kicked him in the side of his head. He rolled along the ground for a quite a distance before he stopped, but Marko ran to keep up with him. He grabbed Jack's leg and quickly dragged him towards another random building, then using his all his strength, he picked him up and flung him into a wall. Marko followed up the toss with a Bazooka Blast that connected for free and sent Jack into the building. Marko ran into the hole that he created with Jack and the Bazooka Blast and found Jack laying on top of a pile of rubble. Marko grabbed one of the bricks and tossed it at Jack's face as he got up. It smacked him with a sickening thud, and Marko immediately followed up the brick toss with a heavy punch to the face. The punch led him to find himself mounted on top of Jack, so he just wailed on him with punch after punch after punch.
"Hey... guy!" Marko taunted, with every word followed by a punch. "You... wanna... stop... this... fight... yet?"
Marko suddenly felt the ground tremble slightly. He delivered a few more punches, but the trembling was getting stronger with each pulse. He looked back and he saw someone big walking towards the hole. He hopped off of Jack and ran towards the hole, and he saw Project, who was bigger than ever, with Ace by his side.
"So Marko," Ace said, "remember when I said that this fight was unwinnable? Well guess what? It just got much more unwinnable!"
"Whoa," Marko said, "am I supposed to be scared or something?"
"Considering that you ran away from me and I wasn't even this big," Project said, "the answer is yes."
Inside, Marko was definitely quite worried about what could happen, because Project was definitely much bigger than the last time he saw him, and the last time he saw he had already grew from his original size.
"Fuck this," Marko said, running towards Project.
As Marko got close, Project stepped forward and tried to punch Marko in his face. Marko slid under his fist, ending up just under his chest and his chin, and he got up, jumped, and connected a Mega Kick to Project's big chin. It knocked him upright a bit, but hardly did damage enough to make Project worry. Ace stepped back, sure that Project would be able to handle Marko on his own since that's what he was designed to do.
Project tried to grab Marko, but Marko jumped up again to avoid the grab and Mega Kicked him in his chin in a backwards motion to try and create space. Project's chin was rocked a bit, but Project didn't even move. Marko continued to move backwards when he landed, and he fired a Bazooka Blast, which Project grabbed and crushed into nothingness. That ability surprised Marko, but he kept his eyes on Project as he rushed towards him. Project threw huge punches when he was close enough, but Marko was quick enough to dodge the punches without much problem. Marko was able to connect a few punches and kicks in between Project's attacks, but they were doing very little damage and they weren't keeping Project from attacking at all.
"Marko Man!" Ace yelled. "Take this!"
Marko took a split second to look at Ace, who was just standing there. Meanwhile, Marko took a huge punch from Project that sent him clear through a building and into the street on the other side of the building. He was down, wondering what kind of power just hit him. He felt the tremors in the ground, and he knew that Project was coming, so he quickly got up. Sure enough, Project was charging through the building, and he had a bunch of brick in his hands. He was tossing them at Marko while still running towards him, and Marko avoided the bricks, but wasn't even paying attenion to the fact that Project was coming towards him. When he was close enough, Project tried to smack him in the face with a brick, but Marko dodged it and countered with a Mega Kick out of desperation. The Mega Kick connected, but Marko was immediately sent down the street with a backhand from his left hand, flying down many blocks before skidding an incredible distance and then coming to a stop.
As Marko came to a stop, he found himself down near the rest of Team Ultimate, who was fending off the pressuring army of motorcyclists, bandits, and red bombers. His eyes met with Convict, and he quickly pulled him off the ground.
"Hey guys, look who I found."
Each member of the team took quick glimpses to see that Marko was located, and they continued to fight. They had come to the conclusion that they could locate Marko if they were able to get the large forces to pressure them into the general direction that Cyron had analyzed Marko would be in, and they ended up finding Marko early.
"What brought you in sliding on your ass anyway?" Convict asked after throwing a random bandit back into the crowd.
Marko looked at the battle ahead of Team Ultimate, then he looked back in the direction from which he came. The tremors were returning, which meant that Project was on his way down the street.
"That."
Marko pointed at Project, who was jogging down the street to catch back up to Marko Man. Convict looked and saw the sheer size of Project, and he nodded with a smirk on his face.
"Makes sense since you're only, like, a hundred pounds soaking wet," Convict said, stepping in front of Marko towards Project. "Step aside and watch a real heavyweight at work."
"I don't think he'll be coming by himself, fat ass."
"Well shit, I got back up too, right? Now stand aside and let me handle this juiced up jerk."

******************************
So I know it's been more than a week since the last time I wrote for this random adventure, but as you can see, I didn't forget about it. I've been busy. Life happens.
Anyway, as you can see, we have Team Ultimate back again, but all of the forces are about to collide. This probably isn't going to be pretty. Stay tuned.
